The Process – Digital printing on fabric

Dye sublimation is a unique printing process that allows you to print high quality images onto fabric. The images are printed so crisp and clear, that you won’t be disappointed with the result.

The process involves a 4 stage process which includes:

1. Please provide your artwork to size.  More information here on how to prepare your artwork.

2. We print your artwork onto transfer paper with our newest technology, Roland RE-640 Large Format digital printer.

3. The paper is then heat pressed onto your chosen fabric. This involves pressing the paper to the fabric at about 180-210c. Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image. You can choose from meterage printing or placement printing.

4. Your fabric is then ready for cutting, sewing or collection as required.
